The South Side Clean Team is always on the move, helping keep East Carson Street and the surrounding business district clean and welcoming. Team members cover miles of the neighborhood while removing litter, emptying and cleaning trash cans and cigarette receptacles, pulling weeds, addressing graffiti and handbills, and cleaning sidewalks and other public areas.  They're easy to recognize in their signature royal blue shirts and friendly demeanor.

Working throughout the year, the Clean Team supports local businesses, residents, and visitors while complementing the work of Pittsburgh’s Department of Public Works.
